Scott began practicing law in 1991 with a large insurance defense firm mostly representing manufacturers in products liability cases and catastrophic injury cases. He handled Insurance Bad Faith and Medical Malpractice defense cases while with that firm as well. In 1996 he was selected to open an office in Brevard County as the managing partner and has since represented almost every major carrier in the Central Florida area. Scott has personally tried to verdict over 100 trials in central Florida, including three multimillion dollar Plaintiffs Personal Injury cases in Brevard County where his clients were all awarded substantial verdicts in each.
Scott played soccer professionally for the Orlando Lions, Georgia Generals as well as in England for Leicester City. Scott was a 1st team all American. Later on Scott served in the U.S Army as an Airborne Ranger,  Air assault, Combat Lifesaver here and abroad.
